Oerlikon Eldim manufactures and processes parts for aircraft engines. They resell these parts to parties which themselves supply engines to large aircraft manufacturers such as Boeing and Airbus. As there was a lack of capacity and appropriate competences in the analytical field, Eldim called in TMC. Michel Werts, Senior Process Engineer at TMC stepped on board to help improve the efficiency of Eldim’s production processes. Together with his manager Sylvain Mégard, he tells us about their cooperation that went sky high in no time.

Lamers High Tech Systems specializes in the development, engineering, construction, qualification and implementation of installations, modules and machine parts for the transport and control of ultra-pure gases and liquids. These installations and products are manufactured under cleanroom conditions. Neways develops and supplies electronics that contribute to key sustainability themes. More than 2,500 Neways specialists worldwide focus on developing future solutions for charging infrastructure for electric vehicles, electric power trains, digitalization of medical solutions, sustainable agricultural applications, microchip production and more. One of these specialists is Joey Bink, who has already opened many new horizons for Neways as project leader from TMC.

With climate targets set for the next several years, the automotive industry is evolving and increasingly focused on electrification and sustainable driving. Bosch Transmission Technology aims to keep pace with this trend and start producing products for this new sales market. Bosch can put its core competencies to good use for these ‘future core’ products. But new challenges inevitably emerge in the process. Swedish company Elekta provides radiation therapy, radiosurgery, related equipment and clinical management for the treatment of cancer and brain disorders. Due to new medical legislation and regulations (MDR) in Europe, the company must improve or supplement existing design and production documentation where necessary. MegaGroup improves people's lives by making water solutions accessible. With the opening of new, strategically placed warehouses, the Dutch company is strengthening its market position. Employeneur Joep van Ierland was asked for support by an old acquaintance in his network. As Astro project manager, he took responsibility for integration of the WMS software used at the first warehouse in Poznan (Poland) at the new semi-automated warehouse in the same region. Iranian industrial designer Afrooz dreamt of living abroad – at least for a while. After some years of working in her home country, she felt it was ‘now or never’. She quit her job and moved to Spain to get her master’s degree. Not in English, as was her original plan, but in Spanish. Through hard work, an eagerness to learn and perseverance she obtained her degree and eventually became an employeneur at TMC Spain. ‘Industrial design is the ideal combination of technology and art.’

“There are very few diagnosis techniques for Alzheimer’s disease. Most patients are simply diagnosed based on the symptoms that they have. There is a huge opportunity in this field; the earlier this disease is detected, the sooner you can start with medication and the more effective the treatment.”
