Hightech consultancy firm TMC has acquired Adventec Consulting, a fast-growing French engineering firm based in Lille. The acquisition strengthens TMC’s service offering in the French market, particularly in the railway sector, while it provides Adventec’s team access to a global market and more capital to support its growth.
Founded in 2021, Adventec provides engineering and technical support to railway operators through on-site missions. The company also offers advisory and training services to help clients improve operational resilience and technical capabilities.
TMC and Adventec have already teamed up on several projects. By joining forces, the companies combine expertise that opens up significant opportunities for growth and innovation.

The acquisition gives Adventec access to TMC’s international footprint, a broader technical portfolio, and the backing of investors Apheon and MML Capital. For TMC, the move enhances its capacity to deliver end-to-end engineering services, particularly in sectors like rail infrastructure. TMC’s fast-growing community currently consists of almost 3,000 employees. Together they represent 71 nationalities across 17 countries globally. The company has a turnover of more than €300 million and has set the goal to employ 10,000 employees by 2032.

The acquisition strengthens TMC’s software expertise and its position in the Belgian market.
